Off the Hook Tour

What a tour! Between July and October 2018, myself, Aaron Jones and Marc Duff took our music to 26 different venues throughout Scotland. From Tongue to Selkirk and Lendalfoot to Portmahomack it was epic! Huge thanks to the many promoters, hosts and supporters who made it so enjoyable - nearly 4000 miles covered. Lovely to reacquaint with so many old friends and make some new ones along the way. Roll on 2019!

Celtic Connections 2019

Delighted to announce that the Alistair McCulloch Trio has its own show at the 2019 Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow. Venue is St Andrews in the Square on Wednesday 30th January at 7.30pm. We will be joined by the very talented group OBT featuring Tom Oakes, Jon Bews and Dan Thorpe.

Burns meets Gow

In collaboration with the 'Twa Fiddles' project, myself and Pete Clark will be performing at a very special concert at the Gaiety Theatre, Ayr on 23rd January 2019 supported by the Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra. For the very first time, Niel Gow's fiddle and the 'Gregg violin' which is associated with Robert Burns will be brought together on the same stage. Gow and Burns met in 1787 in Inver, Perthshire and exchanged various letters. This event will raise the profile of the project prior to a much anticipated concert of significant historical interest at the Scottish Parliament later in 2019.
